This role is a key opportunity within our Client Development team for an Account Director who combines commercial savvy with creative flair, and who is genuinely passionate about experiential marketing, social-first storytelling, and retail innovation. You will spearhead the strategic planning and execution of captivating brand experiences for our top-tier health & beauty clients that are redefining consumer engagement. From impactful in-store activations to ground breaking experiential campaigns and omnichannel shopper journeys that are enhanced through social media, you'll energise brands in the most important places: in the hands, hearts, and social feeds of consumers. Your mission will also include uncovering and nurturing new business opportunities to surpass revenue targets while broadening our suite of services. Collaborating closely with all stakeholders, you'll take the lead on pitches, proposals, and submissions.
Essential Accountabilities:
- Support the account commercials and client relationships for your key clients.
- Lead the growth of and other key clients, with a strong emphasis on Experiential marketing with social media amplification.
- Lead the end-to-end communication of the experiential activations & retail campaigns across your clients.
- Translate brand objectives into memorable, measurable experiences that drive footfall, social engagement, and conversion leveraging influencer partnerships, user-generated content, and platform-native storytelling.
- Champion innovation in shopper marketing, integrating physical and digital touchpoints to create seamless omnichannel journeys.
Client Development & Strategic Growth:
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, providing expert advice on experiential, social-first, and retail strategies to enhance campaigns both in-store and online.
- Identify new brand activation opportunities for seasonal campaigns, product launches, and category growth.
- Create strategic account plans aligned with client KPIs and retail calendars.
Creative Collaboration & Campaign Execution:
- Collaborate with creative, production, and digital teams to develop impactful concepts optimised for social media and digital engagement.
- Work with internal departments and clients on project amendments, budget management, and resource feasibility, ensuring high-quality service from the Campaign team at N2O.
- Partner with brand and marketing managers to ensure campaigns are relevant locally and scalable nationally.
- Coordinate with Campaign Management to meet KPIs and deliver campaigns within budget and margin targets.
Commercial & Operational Excellence:
- Manage account performance through forecasting, budgeting, and profitability oversight.
- Prepare quotes, manage suppliers, and ensure timely and budget-compliant campaign delivery.
- Analyse campaign performance post-launch, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Requirements
- Experience-First Thinking: You believe in the power of live brand experiences to drive emotional connection and commercial impact.
- Retail-Savvy: You understand the nuances of the retail environment and how to activate brands instore and beyond.
- Proven experience in experiential marketing, shopper marketing, or retail brand activation agency or client-side.
- Deep understanding of the FMCG and health & beauty retail landscapes. Strong commercial acumen with a track record of growing client accounts and delivering ROI.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire.
- Highly organised, agile, and comfortable managing multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously.
- Good understanding of managing integrated campaigns involving design, production, logistics, print, staffing and events
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to role model excellent client report writing skills or campaign briefs and give guidance to team members in doing the same.
