Account Manager 🤝

Location: Warrnambool Region, VIC

Are you an experienced and driven sales professional with a passion for building lasting customer relationships? Do you thrive on achieving sales targets and love using data to make smart decisions? We're looking for a dedicated Account Manager to join our team in Warrnambool.

The Role 💼

As our Account Manager, you'll be responsible for maximizing sales profitability and growth within your assigned accounts by taking a relationship-based approach. You'll manage and grow existing customer relationships, making in-person visits and presentations as required.

You'll coordinate the sales effort with various internal teams—including marketing, technical, production, and accounts—to ensure a smooth process for our customers. You'll also work on continuous improvement projects and monitor sales performance indicators to proactively identify areas for growth. A key part of your role will be to become a trusted advisor, understanding customer and competitor activities to help you develop effective sales strategies.

About You ⭐

You're a proactive and results-oriented professional with a "can-do" attitude. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are comfortable interacting with people at all levels. You are widely trusted and known for your integrity and truthfulness.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • A degree or diploma in Business Studies or a related field is preferred, along with prior completion of sales courses.

  • You have 3+ years of experience selling products within the building materials market, preferably in an environment with a long supply chain. Experience in a windows business is a plus!

  • You are comfortable reading and understanding technical drawings and documents and have strong numeracy and literacy skills.

  • You're skilled in using Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word.

  • You have excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills, and you're able to manage your time effectively to juggle multiple tasks.
