Are you an experienced and driven sales professional with a passion for building lasting customer relationships? Do you thrive on achieving sales targets and love using data to make smart decisions? We're looking for a dedicated Account Manager to join our team in Warrnambool.
The Role 💼
As our Account Manager, you'll be responsible for maximizing sales profitability and growth within your assigned accounts by taking a relationship-based approach. You'll manage and grow existing customer relationships, making in-person visits and presentations as required.
You'll coordinate the sales effort with various internal teams—including marketing, technical, production, and accounts—to ensure a smooth process for our customers. You'll also work on continuous improvement projects and monitor sales performance indicators to proactively identify areas for growth. A key part of your role will be to become a trusted advisor, understanding customer and competitor activities to help you develop effective sales strategies.
About You ⭐
You're a proactive and results-oriented professional with a "can-do" attitude. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are comfortable interacting with people at all levels. You are widely trusted and known for your integrity and truthfulness.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
A degree or diploma in Business Studies or a related field is preferred, along with prior completion of sales courses.
You have 3+ years of experience selling products within the building materials market, preferably in an environment with a long supply chain. Experience in a windows business is a plus!
You are comfortable reading and understanding technical drawings and documents and have strong numeracy and literacy skills.
You're skilled in using Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word.
You have excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills, and you're able to manage your time effectively to juggle multiple tasks.
