Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for clients.
- Month-End & Year-End Close: Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Reconciliations: Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely processing and collections.
- Tax Compliance: Assist with sales tax filings, corporate tax provisions, and liaise with tax advisors as needed.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting workflows.
- Client Advisory: Provide financial insights, budgeting, and forecasting support to clients.
- Technology & Automation: Leverage cloud-based accounting tools like QuickBooks Online, Xero, and financial reporting software.
- Team Collaboration: Train and mentor junior accountants/bookkeepers, ensuring quality control and best practices.

- Experience filing sales tax returns including GST/HST, PST, and PSB for Charities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with platforms like QBO, Xero, Dext, and Plooto.

- Client Relationship : You will be directly working with the client. This means that you will communicate with the client, provide services, and address any client-related matters independently.
- Payments : All payments for your services will be handled by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will directly go to you.
- Vacation Leaves and Holidays : While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client. You are expected to align your schedule with the client’s business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.
