The Construction Industries CFO Team is seeking an Accounting Manager - FP&A, in Irving, TX – Corporate Headquarters.
Caterpillar has exciting opportunities for business leaders who want to be challenged, make an impact, and are interested in progressing through a number of managerial assignments. This position will offer you the opportunity to interact and present to the top senior leaders within the Construction Industries segment, including Group President, Group CFO, Sr. VPs, and Division CFOs regarding financial planning and analysis insights. This role will encourage you to demonstrate and develop your leadership skills, utilizing excellent communication, presentation, and financial analysis skills. As well as being a liaison with other groups throughout the enterprise in corporate and business units. In addition, this role will be heavily involved in leading and implementing strategic finance initiatives. This position has two direct reports making it a great first supervisor role.
JOB DUTIES:
The Accounting manager on the CFO team is knowledgeable on a variety of business functions. They will act as an advisor on business related issues to business unit accountants as well as non-accountants and can resolve issues independently. Incumbent can accomplish complex and/or technical analysis, but generally utilizes data gathered by others to render a financial opinion or business decision. Incumbent will provide advice/recommendations to drive behavior (ability to influence management directions) with segment managers, division managers, business unit managers and leaders, often working on tactical and strategic business issues. They will demonstrate decision making skills and ownership for results. The Accounting Manager will oversee and evaluate activities within the team as well as providing professional development.

Summary Pay Range:
$144,960.00 - $217,320.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
