You’ll manage a small team, oversee key accounting operations, and ensure the integrity of financial reporting and compliance. From monthly closings to audit coordination
and inventory accuracy, your leadership will help drive clarity and confidence across the business.

What You Will Do:
- Preparing or leading preparation of reports which summarize and forecast business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings, based on past, present and expected operations.
- Prepare Annual Reports in accordance with both Hungarian Accounting Standards (HAS) and US GAAP.
- Create and submit corporate Tax Returns.
- Own the monthly closing process and reporting for the legal entity.
- Act as the CAPEX Coordinator, managing capital expenditure tracking and reporting.
- Perform accounting tasks in compliance with US GAAP.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, including annual audits and Tax Authority reviews.
- Execute payment transfers accurately and on time.
- Supervise and oversee all accounting processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Lead, support, and develop the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Hold a university degree in finance, accounting, economics, or economic informatics, and possess a certified accountant qualification
- Proven experience in preparing financial statements.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to understand and analyze complex accounting concepts.
- Committed to delivering high-quality, accurate work and approaching new responsibilities with enthusiasm and initiative.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, integrating leadership principles into everyday interactions and communication.
- Able to tailor communication effectively when collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, fluent in both Hungarian and English.
- Open-minded and adaptable when faced with new tasks or changing priorities.
