Accounts and Administration Officer (UK) - Work From Home

  • Provide administrative support to the Managing Director and other Directors.
  • Manage day-to-day email inboxes for the Managing Director and senior leadership, including triaging, prioritising, and actioning tasks.
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks using Xero, including data entry, invoicing, bank reconciliation, and accounts maintenance.
  • Handle VA-style tasks such as calendar management, appointment setting, document formatting, and file organisation.
  • Support other team members with inbox management when time permits.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, internal communications, and basic documentation.
  • Maintain accurate administrative and financial records in accordance with company procedures.
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments as required.
  • Coordinate internal task follow-ups and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and improve task efficiency.
  • Other role-specific duties as they arise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in an administration and bookkeeping role.
  • Must have proficiency in Xero accounting software.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based admin tools.
  • Experience managing executive or senior leadership inboxes is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.
  • A task-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environment is advantageous.
