- Provide administrative support to the Managing Director and other Directors.
- Manage day-to-day email inboxes for the Managing Director and senior leadership, including triaging, prioritising, and actioning tasks.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks using Xero, including data entry, invoicing, bank reconciliation, and accounts maintenance.
- Handle VA-style tasks such as calendar management, appointment setting, document formatting, and file organisation.
- Support other team members with inbox management when time permits.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, internal communications, and basic documentation.
- Maintain accurate administrative and financial records in accordance with company procedures.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments as required.
- Coordinate internal task follow-ups and ensure deadlines are met.
- Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and improve task efficiency.
- Other role-specific duties as they arise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in an administration and bookkeeping role.
- Must have proficiency in Xero accounting software.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based admin tools.
- Experience managing executive or senior leadership inboxes is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.
- A task-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environment is advantageous.
