AI/ML Developer

About the role

As a AI Developer focused on Generative AI and Machine Learning, you will make an impact by developing and implementing advanced AI solutions using Azure Machine Learning. You will be a valued member of our analytics and AI team, collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative business outcomes.

In this role, you will:

· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and document functional and non-functional requirements.

· Work with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into existing systems.

· Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

· Ensure the scalability and reliability of AI solutions to meet business needs.

· Monitor and optimize the performance of AI models to achieve desired outcomes.

· Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.

· Provide technical guidance and support to team members on AI-related projects.

· Evaluate existing workflows and recommend enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

· Create clear and concise documentation including business requirements, user stories, use cases, and process flows.

· Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity.

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of AI and machine learning strategies within the organization.

What you need to have to be considered

· 6–10 years of experience in business analysis or a related role.

· Strong expertise in Generative AI, ML Ops, AI & ML concepts, and hands-on experience with Azure Machine Learning for model development.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Ability to adapt to a hybrid work model and manage tasks efficiently during day shifts.

These will help you stand out

· Experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.

· Demonstrated ability to evaluate workflows and recommend enhancements.

· Experience providing technical guidance and support on AI-related projects.

· Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in AI and machine learning.

Certifications Required

· Business Analyst Certifications

Salary and compensation:

The annual salary for this position between is $83,000 to $94,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
