Your role:

You will work on a variety of projects related to Decision AI in the real world. You will contribute to understanding challenges in such domains, developing solutions for them using multiple approaches and tools, and communicating the results to partners and the scientific community. Key responsibilities:

· Assist with the identification of impactful research problems

· Help in designing new technology for solving such problems

· Implement the technologies and evaluate them on various benchmarks

· Assist in presenting the findings to partners and the scientific community

· Help in integrating the technologies into the LEAF platform

· Work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment with others in the team

Your profile:

· Pursuing a PhD or equivalent experience in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field

· Demonstrated research experience in such a field

· Experience with Python, Tensorflow/PyTorch, Jupyter Notebook, GitHub

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Salary and Other Compensation:

This is a full-time fixed term position for 3-4 months. The hourly salary for this position is between $[40/hr – 75/hr] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
