We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Queretaro office.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily AP operations, ensuring invoices, expense reports, and payments are processed accurately and on time.
• Implement, maintain, and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent errors or fraud.
• Conduct periodic internal audits of AP processes to ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the main liaison between the AP team, vendors, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and maintain strong relationships.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to the AP team to ensure operational efficiency.
• Analyze AP data and prepare reports for management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Propose and execute process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and strengthen controls.

Requirements

• Fluent English
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Accounts Payable

• Proven experience implementing and managing internal audit controls within AP or financial processes.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and AP best practices.
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment are a must.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have the flexibility to handle various job assignments while prioritizing all assigned tasks
