App Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Jr. Software Engineer with 0 to 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have mandatory technical skills in SQL and PL/SQL. Experience in domains such as Property & Casualty Insurance Governance Risk & Compliance and Finance & Accounting is a plus. This is a work-from-office position with day shifts and no travel requirements. Proficiency in English at a novice level is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL and PL/SQL code to support application functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of technical documentation for database systems.
• Work closely with business analysts to understand and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Provide support for database deployments and updates ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of database development processes and standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.
• Participate in team meetings and provide input on project planning and execution.
• Ensure data security and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Support the companys mission by delivering reliable and efficient database solutions that enhance business operations.

Qualifications

• Must have strong technical skills in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance Governance Risk & Compliance and Finance & Accounting is a plus.
• Must be proficient in English at a novice level.
