Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Target Achievement:
Meet and exceed sales targets set for the assigned territory. Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition and expansion of existing customer base. - Territory Management:
Develop and implement area-specific sales strategies. Analyze territory performance and create action plans to optimize sales effectiveness. - Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor a team of sales representatives. Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to drive results and ensure professional growth of team members. - Market Development:
Identify new business opportunities, understand market trends, and analyze competitors to stay ahead in the market. Execute local marketing initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team. - Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and distributors. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through regular engagement and problem resolution. - Reporting & Analytics:
Prepare and present accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to senior management. Utilize data to track performance and identify areas of improvement. - Cross-functional Coordination:
Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure customer expectations are met and operational efficiencies are maintained.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in a B2B or B2C setting. - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is an added advantage. - Core Skills:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to analyze sales data and derive actionable insights
- Proficient in CRM tools, MS Office, and reporting systems
