ASO4 / ASO5 - HR Support Officer

We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled HR Support Officer to join a dynamic team within a busy State Government agency. The Opportunity:

This is a temporary contract role, commencing ASAP until the end of the year, with a competitive hourly rate of $49.08 - $54.09 (ASO4-5 level). You'll be based in a central CBD location, right in the heart of the action.

What You'll Be Doing:

As the HR Support Officer, you'll be the backbone of the HR function, providing crucial support to the HR Business Partners. Your day will be packed with a diverse range of responsibilities, including:

• Recruitment and Selection: Playing a key role in attracting and securing top talent for our agency.
• Leave Management: Efficiently processing leave requests to ensure our team is well-supported.
• Inbox Management: Taking charge of the HR inbox, triaging inquiries, and providing timely and professional responses.
• Contract Drafting: Preparing and drafting contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Reclassifications: Assisting with reclassification and classification requests, a vital part of our workforce planning.
• Organisational Charts: Keeping the department's organisational charts up-to-date and accurate.
• HR Forms: Maintaining and updating essential HR forms, including additional duty forms.

What We're Looking For:

You're a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a passion for HR. You have exceptional organisational skills and a knack for juggling multiple tasks with ease. You're a fantastic communicator, both written and verbal, and you're comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Essential Requirement:

• A current National Police Check is a must-have.
• Must be able to commence ASAP
• Must be able to commit to 37.5 hours per week
