Associate Attorney – Estate Planning & Administration
Legacy Law Associates, P.L. | Daytona Beach, FL

About Legacy Law Associates, P.L.

Legacy Law Associates, P.L. is a boutique Florida law firm committed to walking alongside individuals and families through every stage of life with thoughtful, relationship-driven legal guidance. We focus on estate planning, trust and probate administration, elder law, and tax-related matters. But more than that, we are lifelong partners to our clients—serving as their “Trusted Advisor” through life’s transitions and challenges.

We’re not just document drafters—we build connections that last. We help our clients plan well so that when they encounter life’s inevitable changes, we remain available — ready to step in with compassion, clarity, and confidence. We don’t just help people plan for the future—we help them live it more securely and meaningfully.

About the Position

We’re looking for a personable, forward-thinking estate planning attorney to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role with client interaction from the start, mentorship from experienced attorneys, and the opportunity to evolve into a leadership position.

You’ll be expected to study our systems and challenged to improve upon them. We want you to take ownership of your professional growth motivated to be ahead of a marketplace that is constantly changing. We will show you how to be a rainmaker that makes what we do thrive. We’ll help you to build on our legacy, not replicate it — bringing fresh ideas and energy to how we serve our clients and engage with the community. You will be encouraged to get involved in the community, giving back to the place we live and love.

This position offers a clear path to partnership. But that requires an entrepreneurial spirit and not just an employee with a job.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and manage our estate planning drafting systems and tools
  • Shadow attorneys to understand our approach to effective client communication
  • Take on and develop your own client matters under mentorship
  • Participate in regular training in technical, communication, and marketing skills
  • Identify and implement tax-savvy planning strategies
  • Build referral relationships through outreach and marketing
  • Engage in client consultations and ongoing relationship management
  • Practice strong time and task management
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth case workflow

About You

You’re not just a sharp legal mind—you’re a compassionate, grounded professional who values human connection. You know that listening is just as important as advising. You take feedback well, enjoy solving problems, and care about making a difference in people’s lives. You’re looking for more than a job—you want to build a legacy through service and leadership.
