ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Junior / Associate Solution Engineer at Katalon, you’ll collaborate closely with our Product, Sales, and Customer teams to showcase and support the adoption of our platform. You’ll help build technical demos, develop proof-of-concept projects, and support customers on their automation journey.
- Build and deliver engaging technical demos to showcase Katalon Platform’s capabilities
- Collaborate with the Solutions Consultant and Sales teams to support product presentations and customer conversations
- Create small-scale applications or testing scenarios using Katalon and other tools to meet customer needs
- Help customers understand how to get started with test automation using the Katalon platform
Share customer insights and feedback with the Product and Engineering teams to improve the product.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in software testing or automation (web/mobile/API/desktop testing)
- Familiarity with one or more tools/frameworks such as Katalon Studio, Selenium, Appium, or Rest Assured
- Basic programming skills in Java, JavaScript, Python, or Groovy
- Comfortable using GIT or other version control systems
- Good communication in English (both verbal and written)
- Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to explore and learn
Nice to Have (but not required)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Experience working with databases or writing basic SQL queries
- Exposure to Salesforce or the BFSI domain is a plus
- Knowledge of scripting (AutoIt, AppleScript) or Robot Framework
