We are looking for an Automation Engineer to work onsite in Baarle-Nassau. This is a temporary contract until mid-next year, with potential for extension as part of the IT&OT Onsite Services.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Operate and troubleshoot semi-automated and automated manufacturing lines
- Provide support to Operational Technology systems
- Collaborate with local cross-functional teams and external equipment suppliers to ensure operational efficiency
- Support computer system validation activities to meet regulatory compliance and industry standards
- Ensure timely and effective troubleshooting and resolution of system issues in accordance with agreed SLAs
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing automation and validation processes
- Support and execute Computer System Validation (CSV) activities in compliance with regulatory requirements (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11)
- Ensure timely and effective issue resolution
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to automation systems, processes, and documentation
- Ensure all activities are properly documented in accordance with internal and regulatory standards
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field
- Proven experience in automation and OT systems within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong understanding of computer system validation (CSV) in regulated industries (e.g. pharmaceutical, biotech)
- Hands-on experience with semi-automated/automated lines and related troubleshooting
- Good understanding of and motivation for working in regulated environments (GxP)
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with cross-functional and external stakeholders
- Experienced working in multinational teams, i.e. sensitive of cultural differences and adaptable
- Flexible and team oriented person
- Collaborative and creative individual who owns and solves problems creatively, can communicate his/her ideas and results very effectively to colleagues and stakeholders
- Fluency in English and Dutch (spoken and written)
- Candidates have to declare Criminal record extract not older than three months
