Requirements

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our high-performing technology team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native solutions on AWS. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to manage containerized environments, implement CI/CD automation, and ensure high availability of cloud-based applications and infrastructure. This role also involves mentoring junior team members and fostering a DevOps culture across projects.
 

 

Key Responsibilities:
 

Cloud Architecture & Development
 

  • Design and develop robust AWS-based serverless and containerized applications using services like Lambda, ECS, and EKS.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CDK.
  • Create secure and cost-optimized solutions that adhere to cloud best practices.
     

CI/CD Automation & Deployment
 

  • Set up, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
  • Automate release workflows and infrastructure provisioning to accelerate development cycles.
     

Monitoring & Observability
 

  • Implement observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or Dynatrace to monitor application and infrastructure health.
  • Analyze system performance metrics and troubleshoot issues proactively.
     

Collaboration & Mentorship
 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver production-grade solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
     

Required Skills & Qualifications:
 

Technical Expertise
 

  • Strong experience with modern programming languages such as TypeScript, Python, or Go.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS Serverless technologies and managed database services like Amazon RDS and DynamoDB.
  • Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS EKS/ECS, or OpenShift.
     

Tool Proficiency
 

  • Expertise in developer tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Proficient in Terraform or AWS CDK for IaC.
  • Familiarity with Secrets Management tools like HashiCorp Vault.
     

Soft Skills
 

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to take ownership, drive initiatives, and mentor team members.
     

Preferred Qualifications:
 

  • AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) or equivalent.
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP).
  • Exposure to AI/ML services such as Amazon SageMaker or Amazon Bedrock.
  • Understanding of SSO protocols like OAuth2, OpenID Connect, or SAML.
  • Familiarity with Kafka, Amazon MSK, and Contact Center solutions like Amazon Connect.
  • Knowledge of FinOps practices for cloud cost optimization.
