AWS/Python Data Engineer (Onsite)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Technology Specialist with 4 + of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS technologies including AWS Connect AWS Cloud9 and AWS Cognito among others. This role involves working in a hybrid model with a focus on enhancing our cloud infrastructure and supporting asset and wealth management solutions. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation contributing to the company’s growth and societal impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS technologies to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy AWS Connect and AWS Cloud9 environments for seamless integration.
• Manage and optimize AWS Cognito for secure and efficient user authentication and authorization processes.
• Utilize AWS IAM to ensure robust security measures and compliance with industry standards.
• Leverage AWS Bedrock for image and text processing to support data-driven decision-making.
• Implement AWS Open Search for efficient data retrieval and analysis improving information accessibility.
• Oversee AWS Cloud Compute resources to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Integrate AWS Kendra for advanced search capabilities enhancing user experience and information discovery.
• Administer AWS RDS to maintain high availability and reliability of database systems.
• Collaborate with asset and wealth management teams to tailor AWS solutions that meet specific domain requirements.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AWS-related issues ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS advancements to continuously improve and innovate cloud solutions.
• Contribute to the company’s mission by delivering impactful technology solutions that drive business success. Qualifications
• Possess a strong understanding of AWS services including AWS Connect AWS Cloud9 and AWS Cognito.
• Demonstrate experience in managing AWS IAM for secure access control.
• Familiarity with AWS Bedrock for image and text processing is highly desirable.
• Experience in asset and wealth management domains is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technology challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until Oct 17, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $54,000 - $73,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
