We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in data platform architecture patterns and have extensive experience with Azure Data services. This role involves designing and building data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Exploration: Collaborate with Product Owners in early stages of the business requirements maturation performing required data exploration.
Data Platform Design: Collaborate with Tech Lead and Data Architect in the design and extensions of the Data Platform foundations ensuring robust data architectures that supports our roadmap.
Scalable Data Pipelines Design and Build: Ingest, transform, and publish data from various sources to destinations within the existing data platform.
Data Analysis: Perform data analysis required to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues.
Team Management and Mentorship: Work with Data Engineers, providing guidance, reviewing their work, and ensuring best practices are followed. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Innovative Solutions: Offer smart and innovative solutions while ensuring cost efficiency, privacy, security, and compliance.
Proficiency in Azure Services: Extensive experience with Azure Data services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Function, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Key Vault, among others
Azure Databricks Expertise: Proven skills in building scalable Databricks solutions.
Data Literacy: Strong familiarity with data literacy and data platform architecture patterns.
Analytical Skills: Ability to perform data analysis and troubleshoot data-related issues.
Team Collaboration: Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively within a global team, and with near-shore and off-shore teams.
Agile methodology: Strong experience working with Agile frameworks
