Responsibilities
- Pack customer purchases efficiently and securely at the checkout counter.
- Assist cashiers with scanning items and processing transactions as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and offering assistance with their bags.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the checkout area.
- Assist in returning misplaced items back to their respective locations in the store.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols while handling products.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- No prior experience necessary; training will be provided.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Ability to lift and carry bags of groceries and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
