Base 24 Lead Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned engineer with 10+ years of experience to lead the design development and maintenance of the BASE24 Classic payments platform. This role involves working on core components such as authorization settlement and transaction monitoring. You will drive strategic initiatives including tokenization and migration to BASE24 eps. Collaboration with infrastructure cybersecurity and business teams is essential for delivering secure and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

You ll be responsible for resolving production issues performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term fixes. Mentoring junior developers and enforcing coding and security standards will be key responsibilities. Continuous improvement of development processes and tools is expected to ensure platform excellence. Develop and maintain key modules of the BASE24 Classic platform including transaction authorization and settlement. Lead initiatives for tokenization and migration to BASE24 eps and other modern payment technologies. Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver secure scalable and compliant payment solutions. Respond to production incidents perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes. Document technical and functional requirements in coordination with stakeholders. Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in coding and system design. Conduct code reviews and drive continuous improvement in development processes and tools
