Training Lead, Learning & Development

We're looking for an experienced and dynamic Training Lead to spearhead learning and development initiatives for a vast team across geographies.In this critical role, you'll manage, mentor, and empower a teams across diverse operational areas, ensuring the delivery of high-impact training programs that drive performance, foster growth, and align with our strategic objectives.

This position demands a leader with a strong background in instructional design, learning principles, and large-scale training program management. You'll be instrumental in shaping our learning culture and ensuring our associates have the skills and knowledge to excel in a rapidly evolving environment.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Training Leadership: Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive training strategy, aligning learning initiatives with business goals and operational needs.

Team Management & Development: Lead, coach, and develop team of trainers, fostering a high-performance culture, promoting continuous learning, and ensuring consistent delivery of training excellence.

Program Design & Delivery Oversight: Provide expert guidance on instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies. Oversee the end-to-end development, delivery, and evaluation of diverse training programs, including onboarding, upskilling, compliance, and leadership development.

Curriculum Development: Drive the creation and maintenance of engaging, effective, and scalable training content, leveraging various modalities (e.g., e-learning, blended learning, in-person workshops).

Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with department heads, subject matter experts, and senior leadership to identify training needs, gather feedback, and ensure training solutions are relevant and impactful.

Performance Measurement & Reporting: Establish and monitor key training metrics (e.g., participation rates, knowledge retention, performance improvement). Analyze data to assess program effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and report on ROI.

Technology & Innovation: Evaluate and implement innovative learning technologies and tools to enhance the training experience and improve efficiency.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all training materials and delivery methods adhere to established quality standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

● 15+ years of progressive experience in learning and development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing a team of trainers in a large organizational setting (preferably 500+ employees).

● Proven expertise in instructional design methodologies, learning principles, and various training delivery methods.

● Demonstrated success in developing, implementing, and evaluating large-scale training programs.

● Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse team.

● Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

● Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions and demonstrate training effectiveness.

● Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technologies.

● Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

● Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD) is a plus.
