We are hiring a Business Builder Associate in our Manila HQ to help identify and qualify potential business opportunities via cold calling, networking, email and social media. As a Business Builder Associate, you know how to get our clients excited about the very idea of transforming their vision into reality. You will ensure that the clients move from one tier to the next by growing their spending while providing excellent service, guide startups, SMEs, and individuals from all over the world by grooming the right jobs to help them take off! It’s a job for someone who loves planning growth for clients. You will be working from our Manila HQ alongside our amazing team of Account Managers under Managed Services Group.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Strategic thinking and is able to identify market opportunities, align them with Freelancer’s goals of  supercharging their businesses through an array of services that can be done on the platform. 
  • Experience with managing a full sales cycle - leads to qualifying potential clients, pitching businesses, handling objections, is a plus.
  • Relationship building and stakeholder management. 
  • Ability to express complex ideas simply and concisely.  
  • Self-starter nature - you will be working independently and in a team in Manila
  • Constantly seeks new challenges and remains calm under pressure. 
  • Target driven and highly organized
  • Ability to multi-task and has a knack for solving problems in new and creative ways
  • Keen interest in tech and the start up community
  • Experience in customer-facing role - working via email, chat, and phone
  • Degree/diploma in business/marketing/communications, or any related discipline

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting clients and profiling them based on their  niche and design jobs based on their needs. 
  • Design business plans to pitch and convert clients by growing their spend moving them to tiered accounts. 
  • Help clients find the right freelancers by collaborating with our Recruiter Team. 
  • Address questions on site navigation, site features, and FAQs. 
  • Meet/exceed individual KPIs to contribute to the team’s overall sales; 
  • Maintain core stats level at minimum, or better. 
  • Outline processes and find opportunities in improving internal processes. 
  • Resolve escalated issues by providing support to your clients. 
  • Contribute to the team’s success by actively participating in team initiatives in improving the process.
