Role Overview

We’re looking for an energetic and resourceful Business Development Intern to support market research, lead generation, and partner outreach. This role is ideal for someone passionate about startups, agriculture, and creating meaningful impact through business innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential B2B and institutional clients (retailers, exporters, processors, etc.)
  • Assist in lead generation, cold outreach, and initial client engagement
  • Support proposals, pitch decks, and client onboarding documentation
  • Track sales funnel activity and help maintain CRM or lead tracking tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sourcing, ops) to support new business opportunities
  • Analyze feedback and trends from client interactions to improve outreach strategy

You Should Have

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Agri-Business, or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
  • Basic understanding of agri markets, supply chain, or B2B sales preferred
  • Comfortable with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced environment
