The Business System Analyst role is pivotal in driving technical excellence within our organization. With a focus on Gap Analysis Postman API Manager BDD Confluence Jira and AGILE methodologies the candidate will ensure seamless integration and optimization of applications. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of Cards & Payments enhancing our service delivery and customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will

• Act as a bridge between business and development teams, ensuring Agile principles are followed for iterative delivery. Collaborate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to refine and prioritize requirements
• Manage user stories, epics, and tasks in JIRA to track project progress and ensure traceability. Use Confluence for documentation, requirement gathering, and knowledge sharing across teams.
• Define clear, testable business requirements using Gherkin syntax (Given-When-Then) for better collaboration between stakeholders. Work closely with developers and testers to ensure acceptance criteria align with business needs.
• Create well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria to ensure development aligns with business objectives. Continuously refine and update stories based on stakeholder feedback.
• Support functional and UAT testing by validating requirements, identifying test scenarios, and assisting in defect triaging. Ensure requirements are met by collaborating with QA teams during test execution
• Analyze current and future state processes to identify gaps in systems, workflows, or business objectives. Provide recommendations and bridge gaps through optimized solutions
• Identify root causes of business or system issues and provide data-driven solutions. Use critical thinking and analytical skills to resolve complex challenges efficiently
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions to gather and clarify business requirements. Ensure comprehensive documentation and validation with stakeholders.
  
  

Required skills: what you need to be considered

• Must have 8 to 10 years of experience in Capture - Business Analyst on Distributed technologies
• Demonstrate expertise in Gap Analysis identifying discrepancies and proposing effective solutions.
• Possess strong skills in using Postman for API testing ensuring seamless application functionality.
• Show proficiency in API Manager for managing and optimizing API interactions.
• Have experience with BDD to facilitate clear communication and requirement gathering
