Call Centre Operator - State Government

About the role

On offer is a 6 month contract with full time hours within a prominent State Government department. This customer service role will see you liaising with customers through inbound calls to provide support and assistance.

• Pay Rates $37 per hour + superannuation
• 37.5 hours per week - Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

You will provide a high level of customer service and will be required to interact with customers and provide support for general enquiries and assist where needed.

• Maintain a high level of professionalism
• Answer general enquiries and support with complaints
• Assist with payment queries including payment of invoices or payment plans
• Navigate through multiple screens and programs whilst being on the phone
• Undertake information and records management processes, updates and reviews

About you:

• Contact centre experience
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Professional phone manner
• Able to remain calm when handling sensitive situations

Requirements:

• Available to start within 1 week
• A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check within the last 12 months is MANDATORY to be considered for this role.

Please note: This role is based in an inner-southern suburb, public transport may be difficult.
