Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned CCO to join our ever growing team. The ideal candidate will have commercial leadership experience in the pharmaceutical wholesale and healthcare industries, strong strategic thinking, sales and marketing expertise, and exceptional communication skills.
The role will be responsible for leading the commercial strategy, driving growth and market share by overseeing the sales team, conducting market analysis, and building relationships with key stakeholders to enhance brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the commercial B2B strategy to drive growth and maximise market share in the UK and internationally
- Be an exceptional leader to the commercial team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform business decisions and product development
- Identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships
- Oversee the sales team to ensure the achievement of sales targets and revenue goals, implementing effective sales strategies and processes
- Mentor and develop the sales team, providing training and resources to enhance their performance
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align branding, messaging, and promotional activities with overall commercial objectives
- Ensure that marketing initiatives support the sales strategy and drive customer engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Analyse sales data and financial reports to inform strategic decisions and ensure financial sustainability
Requirements
Requirements
- Experience in commercial leadership roles within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or MedTech industries, with a proven track record of driving growth
- Strong experience in pharmaceutical wholesale
- International experience in the GGC, EU, USA is preferred
- Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities, with experience in developing and executing successful commercial strategies
- Deep understanding of sales and marketing principles in the pharmaceutical and MedTech sectors.
- Experience in building and leading high-performing sales teams and driving sales performance
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements relevant to pharmaceutical and MedTech marketing and sales.
