As Division COO you will work almost independently, supervised by the CEO only, to define and execute the Division’s strategic, operational, and financial roadmap. You will lead efforts to scale operations, drive business growth, and enhance efficiency of a globally distributed technical service team.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and shape the most effective business development and marketing channels.
- Organize and manage the sales team, and contribute to proposals, RFP responses, and service model innovations.
- Participate in client and prospect meetings, travelling often to the US and EU.
- Develop pricing models that leverage global resources.
Strategic Execution
- Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with global geospatial market trends.
- Define and monitor KPIs for revenue growth, margins, utilization, and customer satisfaction.
- Own divisional P&L, oversee vendor/project financials and lead budgeting, forecasting, and margin optimization efforts.
- Together with Division CTO/VP Delivery cultivate a client-focused, data-driven, continuous improvement culture and support implementation of best practices in projectmanagement, QA and resource planning.
Requirements
- About 10 years in senior operational and delivery roles (e.g., COO, VP Operations, Head of Delivery) in B2B technology, data processing, or geospatial sectors.
- Strong understanding of the geospatial domain and industry landscape.
- Demonstrated success in business development and scaling operations.
- Proven experience managing global teams across Europe, North America, LATAM, and Asia.
- Strong P&L, budgeting, and financial planning skills.
- Excellent operational discipline and process optimization capabilities.
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Geography, Geomatics, Computer Science, or similar.
- Ability to freely travel internationally, including EU, USA, Asia and Ukraine.
- Fluent English; additional languages a plus.
- Analytical, metrics-driven decision maker.
- Strategic thinker and metrics-driven decision-maker with excellent communication skills and multicultural fluency.
