About the position

We are looking for Chief Quality & Operations Officer who is going to support R&D software projects & departments in Turkey for process and operation efficiency & high quality.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Be a quality & process expert in the department, and quickly adapt, understand the business domain & strategy of the department
  • Work closely with the business department director and projects managers for the strategy-to-execution management of HTRDC and DC departments
  • Support process execution of software development projects and business interaction to improve operation capabilities, efficiency & quality
  • Monitor and collect BP/SP KPIs, PM and SDLC metrics. Identify risks and improvement points at each stage
  • Drive business operation improvements. Follow business objectives, analyze the gaps, and report solutions to department director regularly
  • Output process documents for software development, and business departments for continuous improvement
  • Guide and coach software project teams for process enhancement, tools, and implementation of best practices
  • Build culture, and implement measures of organizations at all levels
  • Organize follow up session with teams for root cause analysis (RCA) to take & track actions
  • Conduct audits to check process compliance, cyber security, and reporting compliance
  • Manage knowledge at the research center level, plan the digital platform for continuous improvement, and provide guidance on methodologies


Requirements

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years dedicated work experience, at least 2 years of experience in software development projects (in one or multiple of the roles for design/programming/testing)
  • Knowledge in Agile & DevOps practices
  • Work experience in quality processes (SDLC) & tools is a plus
  • Very good command of English
  • Good communication skills with clear and an engaging presentation style
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and analytical skills
  • Ability to interact with different types of stakeholders from different levels
  • 6 sigma Green / Black Belt certification is a plus
  • Scrum Master certification is a plus

  • Male candidates should have completed the military service requirement
  • No restriction for travelling abroad
