Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Childcare Assistant/Lead Teacher to join our team in providing exceptional care and early learning experiences for children. This role involves supervising up to 14 children while creating a safe, nurturing, and educational environment that supports their development and growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and provide attentive care for up to 14 children in a group setting
• Ensure all children receive proper care, attention, and supervision throughout the day
• Lead and assist with educational activities and learning experiences appropriate for various age groups
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child’s progress and daily activities
• Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures
Schedule & Compensation
• Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Flexibility: Ability to adapt to varying schedules is a plus

Required Qualifications
• Background Check: Must successfully pass comprehensive background screening
• CPR & First Aid Certification: Current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification required
• Energy & Motivation: Self-motivated with high energy levels and enthusiasm for working with children
• Reliability: Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
• Transportation: Reliable transportation to ensure consistent attendance
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous childcare or daycare experience
• Early Childhood Education degree, certificate, or coursework
• Preschool teaching experience
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
