Center Director - Brand New Early Learning Centre

Location: Shire of Moira - An easy drive from Echuca, Shepparton, Yarrawonga and Cobram.

Are you an experienced and passionate Early Childhood professional looking for an exciting new challenge?

A fantastic opportunity awaits to lead a brand new, purpose-built Early Learning Centre in Numurkah, a vibrant town located just 37 kilometres north of Shepparton in the Shire of Moira.

This government-run facility will cater to 102 children, offering integrated 3 and 4-year-old kindergarten with included pre-prep programs.

About the Role:

As the Center Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the service, acting as the nominated supervisor. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the centre's compliance with all aspects of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, National Quality Standards, Child Protection and Child Safe Standards, Approved Frameworks, and all Early Learning Victoria policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Early Learning Centre.
• Act as the nominated supervisor, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
• Lead and mentor a dedicated team of early childhood educators.
• Develop and implement high-quality educational programs aligned with ECEC frameworks.
• Ensure all child safe standards are met.
• Maintain strong relationships with families and the wider community.
• Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively.

What We Are Looking For:

• Approved Early Childhood teaching qualification (Diploma or Degree)
• Working with Children Check or VIT
• Police check clearance check
• Mandatory reporting
• First aid. Anaphylaxis, CPR and Asthma training
• Two references that can attest to you working with children
• Proven experience in a leadership or management role within an early learning setting.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, National Quality Standards, and Child Protection legislation.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
