Job Summary:
The Civil Engineer is responsible for creating and reviewing structural designs for various projects, ensuring they are both efficient and compliant with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications. Working closely with engineers, architects, and project managers, the designer will produce detailed structural drawings, models, and calculations, playing a crucial role in the construction process from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Drafting:
- Develop detailed structural designs for buildings, bridges, industrial structures, and other construction projects using software like AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Create structural models and drawings that accurately reflect engineering calculations and project requirements.
- Ensure that designs comply with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with structural engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and practical.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural designs with other systems like electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
- Technical Analysis:
- Conduct preliminary and detailed structural analysis using tools such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, or other structural analysis software.
- Assist in selecting appropriate materials for construction, taking into account strength, durability, and sustainability.
- Quality Control:

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 2 years of experience in structural design and drafting.
