With decades of experience in the market, this contractor specialises in residential and industrial subdivisions, roadworks, bulk earthworks, stormwater drainage and associated civil infrastructure. They pride themselves on fostering a positive team culture, strong safety standards and long term relationships with leading developers and local councils.

Due to sustained growth and a solid pipeline of upcoming work, they are now seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead subdivision projects across the Newcastle and Central Coast region.

About the Role

As a Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of residential and industrial subdivision projects. You’ll be responsible for coordinating site activities, managing crews and subcontractors, and ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations across subdivision projects
• Manage subcontractors, plant, and materials on site
• Ensure work is delivered in line with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines
• Monitor progress and liaise with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders
• Maintain compliance with WHS policies and environmental regulations
• Conduct site inspections, pre-starts, and toolbox talks
• Problem-solve and proactively manage site issues as they arise
  
  

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience supervising civil subdivision projects (residential or industrial)
• Strong understanding of earthworks, roads, drainage, utilities, and pavements
• Ability to coordinate multiple crews and subcontractors
• Sound knowledge of safety and environmental practices
• White Card and relevant machinery tickets/licences
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
