Job Title: Customer Relationship Manager - Manufacturing, Automotive, Retail/Consumer Goods, Transportation/Logistics and/or Travel & Hospitality (d/f/m)

Location: Germany (Munich)

Key Responsibilities:

·Market Leadership – Executes account’s strategy for long-term profitable growth and positions Cognizant as a thought partner and business leader within the client

o Developed experience working in one or more of the following industries: Manufacturing, Automotive, Retail/Consumer Goods, Transportation/Logistics and/or Travel & Hospitality

o Deeply understands the client’s Business and Digital strategies especially where applicable to their portfolio

o Builds an Account Plan to be reviewed and incorporated into the broader market plan for above industry

o Executes and manages the account plan through establishing key relationships with business, IT and procurement leads within their portfolio

o Identifies new clients, also qualifies add-on opportunities to existing engagements

·Relationship Management - Cultivates long-term client relationships and aims to broaden Cognizant’s relationship footprint with key clients within the account.

o Invests time in creating client advocates for Cognizant by going above and beyond in relationship development

o Participates in reviews and provides educated and relevant perspectives on key client relationships

·Business Development - Creates opportunities and involves the right teams to position Cognizant credentials, assets and value to the client and qualifies, prioritises and assigns opportunities to deliver the highest percentage of wins.

o Responds to and delivers on client requests in an effective and timely manner

o Identifies opportunities, makes proactive proposals to the client in line with the account strategy

o Drives responses to RFPs, taking end to end ownership ensuring the response is compliant with the client and Cognizant’s processes

o Engages the relevant teams for solutions and works collaboratively with all of account’s internal and external partners to deliver success

·Account Operations - Delivers against the account strategy and goals at the account level; leads and manages the portfolio to ensure attainment of Client’s and Cognizant’s objectives.

o Forecasts and meets or exceeds quarterly and annual revenue & margin targets

o Enhances profitability and actively drives portfolio’s overall financial performance

Required Experience:

·Client and industry knowledge:

o Proficiency in one of the following industries: Manufacturing, Automotive, Retail/Consumer Goods, Transportation/Logistics and/or Travel & Hospitality industry.

o Solid Business development experience – both Hunting and Farming

·Excellent communication skills

o Reliable and dependable with clear, concise spoken and written communication skills

o Ability to work in a global team

·Results driven

o Ambitious and hungry to demonstrate and prove leadership credentials

o Self-starter and adaptable- can work independently or within a team structure

·Building relationships and strengthening partnerships by focusing on exceptional client experience

o Natural ability to build customer rapport and create client advocates for Cognizant

o Customer orientated with ability to keep on top of all progress and potential risks across the portfolio and client landscape

o Ability to balance risk and growth to deliver innovative engagements for clients

Preferred Experience

·Concepts of financial, marketing and business strategy

o Good understanding of P&L Management including revenue and margin forecasting and deal commercials

·Business acumen

o Working knowledge across Business Consulting, Application, Infrastructure and BPO services, and the opportunity for Digital Business

o Deep knowledge in at least one of the domain areas

o Excellent bid management skills

o Exposure to and understanding of multiple delivery and commercial constructs
