Clinical sales specialist - Interventional cardiology, radiology.
Actively supporting interventional device evaluations, usage and Sales
Purpose of Role:
Achievement of sales/market share objectives, through sales and clinical support of medical devices.
Products:
Products include most interventional cardiology products with focus on procedural packs.
Customers:
Interventional Cardiologists and relevant theatre staff, managers and purchasing departments.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with key customers into lasting business partnerships.
- Achievement of sales plans on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Assist customers with clinical, technical, and commercial enquiries.
- Business planning and implementation throughout area of responsibility.
- Development of new business opportunities and determination of new client and market potential.
- Systematic collection, presentation and interpretation of market and competitor information.
- Provide feedback on customers, promotional programs and environmental changes and provide ideas to improve product and company performance in the marketplace.
- Implementation of new product launches and other corporate activities within area of responsibility.
- Attendance at relevant conferences and meetings.
- The successful candidate must reside within or near the territory.
Role Requirements:
- Preferably +3years experience in related field and/sales (cardiology/radiology/Theatre).
- Candidates with nursing/technician experience will also be considered.
- High reliance on drive and planning/organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: Customer focused with strong influencing skill.
- Good administrative and IT/computing skills
- Commercially aware, be able to manage a complex business.
- Well organised
- Self-motivated and team player.
