Rate: $700 USD per month + commission

Lago is on a mission to build a world-class outbound sales engine — and we’re looking for driven, sharp, and ambitious Cold Callers (Sales Development Representatives) to help us get there.

This isn’t your average cold calling job. You’ll be prospecting with purpose — sparking real conversations, uncovering digital marketing needs, and booking qualified appointments that our Account Executives can close.

Forget robotic scripts — we’re looking for strategic communicators who think on their feet, understand the digital landscape, and know how to turn curiosity into conversions. Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to U.S.-based prospects
  • Diagnose potential clients’ digital marketing needs and propose relevant service pathways
  • Set a minimum of 1 qualified appointment per business day with a target of 10–15 per 3-week ramp-up period
  • Perform independent research to better understand client industries and pain points
  • Log activity and results in CRM (Apollo)
  • Collaborate with team members, including Senior SDRs, for training and continuous performance improvement
  • Participate in daily check-ins and team standups

Requirements

  • Proven experience in cold calling, outbound sales, or B2B lead generation
  • Strong communication skills in English with neutral to minimal accent
  • Understanding of digital marketing concepts: SEO, Google Ads, Local Service Ads, and basic web principles
  • Ability to adapt talk tracks and think critically — no rigid scripts
  • Comfortable receiving and implementing feedback
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and accountability
  • Stable internet connection, quality headset, and backup power preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in or selling performance digital marketing services
  • Background in Google services or experience working with SEO, PPC, or Meta ads
  • Prior use of tools like Apollo, HubSpot, or similar CRMs

Compensation & Performance Structure

  • Activity-Based Bonuses and Performance-Based Commission on top of base pay
  • 3-Week Probationary Period with clear performance benchmarks:
    • Must hit 10–15 appointments in the first 15 business days to pass probation
    • Ongoing evaluation using scorecards and call metrics via Apollo dashboard
