Foresite Commercial Real Estate is excited to offer a one year Retail Leasing Associate in Training Program designed for motivated individuals interested in embarking on a career in commercial real estate leasing. This apprenticeship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the retail sector while learning from seasoned professionals in the industry.
As an apprentice, you will actively participate in the leasing process, supporting our leasing team in market research, client outreach, and property presentations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, demonstrates strong communication skills, and is passionate about retail real estate.
The program is a one year program with successful candidates moving to a full time leasing agent position.
Approximately 70% of the candidate's time will be in supporting the leasing team with inbound sales and research and 30% in business development for the candidate's book of business to prepare for the transition to full time agent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting market research and analyzing leasing trends in the retail sector
- Support the leasing team in client outreach initiatives and property showings
- Prepare leasing documents, presentations, and marketing materials
- Participate in meetings and contribute to strategic planning for retail leasing
- Develop relationships with clients and stakeholders to facilitate successful transactions

Requirements
Qualifications:
- A strong interest in commercial real estate, especially the retail sector
- Intends to become a full time, commission only, commercial real estate agent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating independent initiative
- Basic knowledge of real estate principles; previous experience or coursework in real estate is a plus
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
