About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing Fintech startup in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, is seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer to join their small, dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the company's compliance framework and play a critical role in its success.

The Compliance Officer will be responsible for the company's regulatory integrity. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining compliance programs, ensuring the company meets all legal and ethical standards in the fast-paced Fintech industry. This is a hands-on role where the officer will be a key part of helping the company innovate responsibly.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and assist in the creation of a robust compliance framework and internal policies.

• Monitor and report on regulatory changes affecting the Fintech sector.

• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

• Manage all interactions with regulatory bodies.

• Provide compliance guidance to the team.

What Our Client is Looking For

• Experience as a compliance officer or in a similar regulatory role preferred

• A strong understanding of Australian financial regulations

• Basic Mandarin language skills are a must, as the company engages with international partners and clients.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A proactive and adaptable mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
