Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex surgical procedures including corrective jaw surgery, tumor removal, and facial reconstruction.
- Diagnose and manage various conditions affecting the oral and maxillofacial regions.
- Administer anesthesia and manage postoperative care for optimal patient recovery.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Collaborate with orthodontists, dentists, and other specialists to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients regarding procedures, treatment options, and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay updated with advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery and participate in professional development.
Requirements
- Medical degree with a specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
- Completion of a recognized residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
- Board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
- Extensive experience in performing complex surgical procedures.
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to manage a range of conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
