Contracts Administrator/Coordinator

Recently undergoing significant transformation and growth, our client has an opportunity for a Contracts Administrator/Coordinator to join the team permanently.

With a great culture, flexibility and interesting projects, this is a rare opportunity to work with a supportive manager on contracts that benefit the people of SA.

The role:

  • Liaise and monitor progress of projects to contract conditions, cross check contractor performance

  • Ensuring invoicing of projects is in accordance with the contract conditions and costs

  • Preparation and submission of progress and variation claims, delay notices and extension of time claims

  • Managing supplier relationships to ensure high quality delivery and budget adherence


What you will need to apply:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in administering contracts

  • A commercial and improvement driven mindset - always looking for ways to extract value from a contract once it has been executed

  • Financial acumen - ability to assess claims and variations

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to break down internal silos, from procurement to project delivery
