Job Description:

As the Corporate Account Executive - Sustainability, you will be responsible for managing the corporate account portfolio for sustainability, as well as trading activities related to environmental commodities. You will play a crucial role in driving sustainable practices and maximizing the value of these commodities within the organization. Your key responsibilities will include:

Corporate Account Management:

-          Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients interested in sustainability advisory and environmental commodities, such as Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), carbon credits, or other environmental credits.

-          Understand clients' sustainability goals, energy consumption patterns, and environmental objectives to provide tailored solutions.

-          Collaborate with clients to develop and implement strategies for reducing carbon footprints. Additionally, procure and manage environmental commodities that align with their sustainability targets.

-          Monitor and evaluate the performance of client portfolios, provide regular updates, and address any concerns or inquiries.

Trading Activities:

-          Develop and execute trading strategies for environmental commodities, considering market conditions, supply and demand dynamics, and regulatory requirements.

-          Monitor and analyze market trends, policy developments, and regulatory changes to identify trading opportunities and optimize portfolio performance.

-          Execute trades, including buying and selling environmental commodities, and ensure accurate record-keeping of transactions and contracts.

-          Establish and maintain relationships with market participants, such as renewable energy project developers, utilities, brokers, and other trading counterparties.

-          Conduct due diligence on potential trading partners, evaluate risk factors, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

-          A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Environmental Sciences, or a related field is required.

-          Experience in handling corporate accounts is an added advantage.

-          Strong knowledge of renewable energy markets, sustainability, and environmental regulations is an added advantage.

-          Proven track record in developing and executing successful trading strategies in the commodities market is an added advantage.

-          Leadership abilities, including team management, collaboration, and effective communication skills.

-          Strong commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
