Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting or venture capital/private equity experience in the technology industry.
- Experience in Internet, communications, e-commerce, or cloud.
Preferred qualifications:
- 3 years of experience understanding and consulting on different financial models existing across the industry.
- 3 years of experience working in a consulting or venture capital organization including experience with legal terms/procedures.
- Knowledge of Google products and cross-functional perspectives.
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative problem solving skills, including experience building financial models and valuing companies.
- Excellent people management and communications skills,with effective business acumen and attention to detail.
About the job
As Corporate Development Associate, you will understand the process to take the lead on organizing due diligence workstreams, creating agreement approval materials, owning the financial model/valuation, and negotiating/executing the transaction with high-level feedback from executive agreement leads. You will demonstrate working knowledge of finance, corporate strategy, agreement execution, and product/technology concepts for a specific product area. You will use domain experience and pattern recognition to take and defend a point of view with agreement team members or sponsors, taking into account factors within the ecosystem and within Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $123,000-$176,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
