Credit Officer (Temp)

We're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Credit Officer to join a well established team and manage a diverse portfolio of accounts from assessment through to collection.

About you:

• 2 years experience in full functions credit role
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to build rapport with customers and internal teams.
• Proficiency with computer systems and a knack for managing data.
• A proactive and flexible approach to your work.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You'll be the central point for a portfolio of customer accounts, responsible for:

• Overseeing the complete life cycle of accounts, including new applications, monitoring, and debt collection.
• Conducting credit checks and assessments to ensure all applications meet our credit policy requirements.
• Reconciling customer accounts, resolving payment issues, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to manage claims and disputes.
• Maintaining accurate customer records and files in line with audit and insurance requirements.
