Customer Service Officers-State Government

Customer Service Officer positions are available for a well known and reputable Government Department located in the CBD. Assignments up to 3-6 months are available with strong opportunities for extensions. Hourly Rate $37-$43 per hour. Hours of work Monday -Friday, between 8am and 6pm.

Required Security Clearances

• Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• National Police Clearance (NPC) obtained within 6 months

The Role:

What you will do:

• High level advisory and issue resolution
• High level administrative tasks duties
• Provide guidance to queries
• Interpret customer information
• Generate and maintain appropriate records and documentation
• Undertake information and records management processes, updates and reviews

Essential Experience/skills:

• Experience in dealing with high volume calls
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
• Strong background in customer service
• Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Windows based PC environment
• Strong alpha and numerical data entry skills
• Professional phone manner
• Ability to problem solve and learn new technologies
