Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in solution engineering and 1 year of experience in stakeholder management, professional services, or technical consulting.
  • 2 years of experience writing code in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in an analytical role such as business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics.
  • Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments or cloud data engineering.
  • Experience using Machine Learning and building solutions.
  • Experience working with systems (e.g., Linux, Unix)

As a Data Cloud Engineer, you will work directly with some of Google’s customers on data projects that transform business. You will provide consulting, program management, and technical expertise on customer engagements, while working with customer executives and key technical leaders to deploy solutions on Google’s Cloud Platform.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities

  • Work with customer technical leads, executives, and partners to manage and deliver successful implementations of cloud solutions, becoming a trusted advisor to decision-makers throughout the engagement.
  • Work with internal specialists, product, and engineering teams to package best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies, and published assets.
  • Interact with business, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks/issues, and timelines for successful customer outcomes.
  • Advocate for customer needs in order to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development based on your field experience.
  • Propose solution architectures and manage the deployment of cloud-based distributed virtualized data solutions according to customer requirements and implementation of best practices.
