We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a Data Operations


General Services:

• Program management

• Application metrics

• Documentation of applicable applications/support procedures

• Application onboarding

Application/Platform Maintenance:

• Routine maintenance i.e. upgrades

• Corrective maintenance - incident/problem/defect resolution

• Preventative maintenance – efficiency, reliability, and maintainability improvements

Production Support:

• Incident management - work on incidents as assigned

• Track, manage, and resolve incidents assigned to the queue for supported applications.

• Incident trend analysis/analysis for incident root cause

• Problem identification and resolution

• Metrics – platform/application capacity and health metrics

• Continuity – executing disaster recovery plans, population of plan information

• Create/update documentation, knowledge base articles, run books.

• Change ticket tasks, perform activities/validations, etc., as assigned

• Work on job failures/abends

• Identify root cause and suggest fixes.

• Engage development/engineering teams for complex production issues as needed.

• Perform shift handover and takeover activities from between locations.

• Suggest best practices, propose, and implement process improvements.

Operations Support

• Application/platform monitoring and event management

• Implementation/Deployment activities

Service Requests

• Work on service requests as assigned

• Work on releases and coordinate with development/engineering teams during release

Deep knowledge in one of the following FIS applications: IST Switch, Clearing, MAS, CBK, Data Navigator.

Language: English (fluent).
