About the role

As Data Scientist you will make an impact by developing and deploying analytical tools

In this role, you will:

1. Conduct extensive data analysis to identify trends and patterns in large datasets.

2. Develop and implement predictive models to improve operational efficiency and customer services.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.

4. Prepare and present reports that effectively communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.

5. Utilize advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms for data modeling and prediction.

6. Monitor and improve data quality and integrity through effective data governance practices.

7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends in data science and field operations for telecommunications to apply best practices.

What you need to have to be considered

1. Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role in the telecommunications industry.

2. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and familiarity with data manipulation and analysis libraries.

3. Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or similar tools.

4. Solid understanding of statistical modelling, regression analysis, and data visualization techniques.

5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex datasets.

6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

These will help you stand out

1. Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

2. Preferred Experience in projects around telecom field operations

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 10/03/25.

The annual salary for this position is between $76,000 - $134,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
