Job description:
- Provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, and standard peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Perform system reimaging, virus removal, and patch updates.
- Assist in the backup and recovery of user data and configurations.
- Document support activities and update configuration records.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacement and warranty claims.
- Support software installations, user onboarding, and device configuration.
- Escalate issues to L2/L3 support teams as necessary.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree in Information Technology or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in desktop support or IT field services.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Modern Desktop Associate preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows OS and desktop applications.
- Basic understanding of networking and system recovery procedures.
- Experience with backup software and endpoint recovery.
- Proficient in remote desktop tools and ITSM ticketing platforms.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and documentation skills.
