We currently have a vacancy for a DevOps Engineer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

  • Software configuration management;
  • Build and continuous integration;
  • Establishment maintenance procedures related to deployment of information systems;
  • Management of development infrastructure (e.g. application servers);
  • Manage automated CI/CD pipelines;
  • Release management and controls;
  • Plan, coordinate, and schedule software releases across multiple teams and environments..

Requirements

  • University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
  • At least 3 years of experience in software deployment management;
  • At least 3 years of experience in software release management;
  • At least 5 years of experience building and deployment tools (e.g. Ant, Maven);
  • At least 5 years of experience in CI/CD automation tools (e.g. Gitlab, bamboo, Jenkins);
  • At least 5 years of experience in Confluence and Jira;
  • At least 5 years of experience in source Code Management & Version Control (e.g. Git);
  • At least 3 years of experience in application servers (e.g. Weblogic Application Server, Tomcat);
  • At least 2 years of experience in RDBMS;
  • At least 2 years of experience in Linux;
  • At least 1 year of experience in containerization technologies (e.g. Docker);
  • Excellent command of the English language;
  • Knowledge of French will be considered an advantage.
