Director of Nursing

Eminence Home Care is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead our clinical team on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced home care environment and is ready to take on a leadership role with autonomy, purpose, and impact.

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus | Full-Time | Field-Based (75–80%)

Compensation: $85,000-$95,000 annually, based on experience.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Location: 1325 Mt Hermon Road, Suite 12B Salisbury MD 21804

You Will:

• Provide direct oversight and support to a team of Registered Nurses (2 direct reports)
• Conduct field-based, in-home assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Ensure compliance with clinical policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards
• Coach, mentor, and train nursing staff to uphold clinical excellence and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic and patient-centered care
• Review documentation and ensure timely submission of accurate clinical records
• Act as a liaison between staff, patients, families, and external partners to ensure continuity of care
• Support hiring, onboarding, and clinical training for new nursing staff

You will have:

• Active RN license in the state of Maryland
• At least 1 year of nursing experience (home care or community nursing preferred)
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, time management, and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable working independently and navigating the Eastern Shore territory
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
