We’re seeking a strategic and data-driven Director of Student Retention to lead our enterprise-wide focus on student retention, progression, and completion outcomes.

What You’ll Do 

  • Lead strategy and execution to deliver an outstanding online student experience and meet retention and completion goals.
  • Use sector metrics to guide retention strategies.
  • Partner with leaders and teams to prioritise retention efforts, embed best practices, and drive change.
  • Oversee rollout and evaluation of retention initiatives and pilots.
  • Manage relationships with partner universities, government, and education bodies.
  • Lead a high-performing, values-driven team focused on student success.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Postgraduate qualification in behavioural science, psychology, statistics, education or a related field.
  • Strong experience in customer experience, retention strategy, or student success (ideally within higher education.)
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Expertise in data analysis, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Passion for improving student outcomes and expanding access to education.
